About Doubtful Sound Daytime & Overnight Cruises

Doubtful Sound is a massive wilderness area of rugged peaks, rainforest and twisting, hidden fiords - all deep in the heart of Fiordland National Park. We offer two different cruise options at Doubtful Sound:

Doubtful Sound Wilderness Cruises:

Cruise across island-studded Lake Manapouri and coach over Wilmot Pass. Then explore Doubtful Sound on a three-hour cruise with our nature guide. Wildlife sightings are likely to include dolphins, seals and penguins.

- Departures: All year.

- Coach connections from Queenstown and Te Anau are available (extra cost).

- Delicious lunch options available (if pre-ordered).

Doubtful Sound Overnight Cruises:

Spectacular combination of wilderness scenery and experiencing Doubtful Sound by day and by night. Delicious meals, kayaking and tender craft trips included. Choice of private ensuite cabins or quad-share bunk-style compartments on board the purpose-built vessel Fiordland Navigator (sleeps 70).

- Departures from Sep - mid May.

- Coach connections from Queenstown and Te Anau are available (extra cost).

See our website for departures, prices, full cruise details and other great Fiordland, Queenstown and Stewart Island excursions.
