The majestic Queen Charlotte Sound is the most visited of the Marlborough Sounds and home to some of its most idyllic beaches. Among the many to choose from are Ngatuka Bay, Davies Bay, Mistletoe Bay and the Bay of Many Coves. The seaside town of Picton sits at the head of Queen Charlotte Sound and this is the place to go to find tours. Take a boat cruise or a kayak and the turquoise water, secluded bays and twists and turns of stunning coastlines will amaze you.
