About White Horse Hill Camping Area

Relax in peaceful surroundings amid alpine splendour only 2km from Aoraki Mt Cook Village. Only basic facilities are provided - no power or showers, though public shelter and flush toilets are available. Bookings aren?t required, and a warden is in residence over the summer. White Horse Hill Camping Area is the start point for a number of major tracks including Hooker Valley, Kea Point and Sealy Tarns/Mueller Hut. Campers need to be aware of visits from the cheeky kea. Their antics delight and exasperate, especially when their curiosity leads them to investigate anything accessible with their strong beaks.
