It is possible to stay for one night which quite a few facilities in Napier don't allow.
The kitchenette was probably the most difficult one we have had to use in 6 weeks travelling around NZ. It didn't have an extractor fan nor a double hob. It did have a microwave and an electric frying pan but every other motel we have stayed at so far has had a double hob, frying pan, and saucepans. we were able to cook a meal but just had to think about it. The room was quite dingy and there is quite a bit of traffic noise - so OK for one night but would;'t have wanted to stay for longer. It served a purpose but that's all.
Lovely big room and well decorated in modern furnishings - made us feel real at home.
More sky movie channels - we don't get movies at home so always nice to be able to watch some while away.
Stayed here before - what I hadn't realised is the main road now bypasses this area so much quieter than I expected - nice one

Room 6 was great . Plenty of space & very modern
Just a short walk behind motel is the beach and park.
Two doors away - popular restaurant.
10 mins walk over the bridge to West Quay restaurants.
The rooms have no air conditioning.
The windows are blocked by the heavy curtains so ventilation was compromised
