Show Your Card & Save was established by the American Auto Club in 1993 and has quickly grown into one of the largest loyalty programmes in the world, with over 115,000,000 Auto Club Members in 70 countries.
All seven Australian Auto Clubs joined the programme in 2004, with New Zealand joining in 2010.
Show Your Card & Save is a well known and well used programme in clubs around the world and is very familiar to International Members who have an expectation of receiving discounts as part of the International Auto Club ‘reciprocal rights’ arrangement.
The beauty of the programme is its simplicity. There are no tricks or hidden costs. It literally opens up a vast world of savings to International Auto Club Members visiting New Zealand, giving them access to instant and quantifiable discounts and/or added value.
To claim a saving from one of the participating partners, all an International Auto Club Member needs to do is either:
- Show an Auto Club Card when booking direct or
- Enter the Membership Number on the partner’s website
You will receive a listing on www.showyourcardandsave.co.nz, which is a dedicated website promoting all the travel operators offering discounts to visiting international Auto Club Members.
The website will be promoted via the Australian Auto Club magazines and on the New Zealand Automobile Association website www.aa.co.nz
