Was there anything really great about your stay you'd like to share?

The location was a huge factor.

Are there any improvements you would like to suggest?

Please check wall plug, as the one in my room didn't work, and had to plug the jug in on the floor near the door.

Nothing at all!

Are there any improvements you would like to suggest?

The room was like a prison and the carpet was really old. It was a horrible room to start with, and I will never go back again.

Kiwi International Hotel replies:

This malicious review was arranged, we suspect, by a competitor. The absurdly low ratings contrast starkly with other ratings and are at odds with the reality that our occupancy grew by over 20% in the last financial year. (Auckland hotel average 3%) A very similar review was removed by TripAdvisor from their site. AA apparently don't have this facility.

Reception staff were very helpful arranging travel to the airport. This is a good choice if cost is an issue

Are there any improvements you would like to suggest?

The hotel is undergoing renovation, and there was some confusion about stairway access.

Front of House staff were absolutely great.

Are there any improvements you would like to suggest?

The exterior building painters are also part of the experience so ensure that they treat guests with the same high level of customer service and attitude.

Reception staff made wise crack about me paying through AA, intimating that it would be a month before the hotel itself received payment. It was inappropriate.

I liked the reception staff. They were lovely and friendly and professional. Very helpful when we had questions about where to go and what buses etc to catch to get to some of the sights.

Are there any improvements you would like to suggest?

The toilet roll was overlooked by the cleaners. It was nearly empty but when we shot down to reception to ask for some more they got some more immediately and with apologies.
