Nicely appointed unit with private outdoor deck. Large bathroom with spa bath.
Lighting could be improved as it is quiet dark inside unit.
Fabulous location by beach. Very quiet and great value.
The TV clarity and colour were poor; possibly nearing the end of its life?
Great gym neat veiw

We rang the At The Rocks Motel about 4 hours after our estimated time of arrival to say we were still coming we just got a bit held up. Upon our arrival the heaters had been switched on to make the rooms toasty warm and cosy the lights had also been switched on so we could see. This is service and very thoughtful of the owner to do that. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms extremely quiet I never heard any noise outside like cars parking or other guests leaving/arriving. I can definitely recommend At The Rocks Motel as a place to stay.

The private outdoor area that would be nice in summer time.
That the large window be addressed between the bathroom & living/sleeping area. This is so bright for a sleeper if someone uses the bathroom through the night & early morning when the sun comes streaming in from the actual bathroom window . This opague piece of glass serves no useful purpose what so ever. Also no vanity cupboard for toiletries apart from the floor. And a very wet shower curtain that can cling to you when in the shower. No air con but a fan. No cooking facilities just a microwave
Well situated. Close to Napier but peaceful -near sea & marina area
