Was there anything really great about your stay you'd like to share?

The Gent at reception recommended a Restraunt for us to try, and it was a great choice, was close to all we wanted to see. A great visit.

Was there anything really great about your stay you'd like to share?

We would not hesitate in staying at the motel again. There was everything we needed for our 3 night stay. The separate bedroom contained a king size bed which was very comfortable. It was nice to be able to relax after a busy day of sightseeing, on the small deck and garden at the back of the unit. The owner was very helpful recommending places to visit, also restaurants , take-aways close by. We would recommend ,At The Rocks Motor Lodge to anyone wishing to stay in Napier

Very friendly staff, nice room, we couldn't want more.

Parking was a bit tight, but that was the only issue.

Right on Estuary @ Meeanee Quay for nice walking paths; 10 minutes walk to restaurants at Quayside. But, have to take a taxi to downtown Napier - mine was NZ$16. Very artsy/well designed buildings, so I really felt I was in a unique place and not a boring, plain motel. I felt very comfortable there. It is pristinely clean with new towels and dishes. The room was comfortable with a spacious bathroom.

Are there any improvements you would like to suggest?

Yes the attitude of the owner was very strange. At times he was quite rude. For example the 'free' internet never seemed to be working and when we asked about it he replied my sister has been on it.' He then stuck a notice on the reception door saying that he knew it was not working - no apology.
