The owner's were absolutely wonderful, they were incredibly friendly and helpful and made me feel at home.

Was there anything really great about your stay you'd like to share?

The weather may have been cold but Laurel & Bob's welcome was just as warm as we had experienced on our previous stay. The unit was kept warm and inviting and could not have been more comfortable.

It would be very hard to find a better motel anywhere in NZ. The size, decoration, cleanliness and overall standard of the unit was faultless.

I mentioned to the owner that I had forgotten to pack my binonculars. He very kindly lent me his own pair for the duration of my visit. Very friendly and very helpful people.

We were moved to a room facing the golf course. This was very quiet and with a wonderful view and plenty of sunshine. Much appreciated.

Was there anything really great about your stay you'd like to share?

One of the very best of the many motels I've stayed at. Excellent management, maintenance of gardens, friendliness and efficiency evident in every aspect. I was not familiar with Cromwell before this visit and was pleased to find that the Lake Dunstan Motel was very handy to major access roads and also only a short walk to shops and supermarket. Highly recommended.

We were unable to stay at the Lake Dunstan Motel due to a computer error so staff made an alternative booking at Garrick Lodge Motel next door. this was a very good alternative with good facilities
