Wonderful sea views looking toward Paihia and only a 5 minute walk into Russell for cafes and restaurants.

Was there anything really great about your stay you'd like to share?

The staff were really helpful as I had misunderstood the website info and actually booked the wrong type of chalet.

Are there any improvements you would like to suggest?

I did find the web site somewhat confusing when booking so maybe some clearer info would be helpful for future clients.

Great spot, lovely camp

Just that there was an unpleasant smell in our motel unit when we arrived. Maybe it just needed airing?

Sharp knife missing from cutlery. Cooktop numbers not visible, guesswork to tell how hot it is set to. Otherwise very good cabin.

Was there anything really great about your stay you'd like to share?

The staff realised that we had paid too much as our child was only 3 years old They told me this and gave us the cash due to us. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. The playground and lovely lawned areas were great for the children

Are there any improvements you would like to suggest?

Maybe a slightly bigger TV and a DVD player - really useful if you want to put on something appropriate for little children before going to bed!

Great value and quality - stayed in a great wee unit with another couple. Was rare to find a place with two separate bedrooms with two queen+ beds.

Are there any improvements you would like to suggest?

The booking process was the only let down - there didn't seem to be any communication between AA and the Holiday park itself, so no booking confirmation was sent for months - only after I enquired did I receive one. Then, upon arrival, staff had noted my booking down for the wrong dates and it was difficult for them to find my real booking.

CUT THE HEDGE IN FRONT OF THE MOTEL TO MAKE IT POSSIBLE TO SEE THE SCENERY. THE TOILET HAS A LEAK WHICH EMITS A BAD SMELL. MANAGEMENT WAS INFORMED.
