Was there anything really great about your stay you'd like to share?

The staff were very friendly, There was extra touches like pulling our curtins when we were late home, spending some time with an elderly guest that we had with us when we were out and she was having quiet time on here own. Very pleasent stay. Thank you.

Was there anything really great about your stay you'd like to share?

50Mb of free internet access. Bonus. We went out at about 4.15pm and didn't return until 8.30pm. the proprietor had been in to our unit, turned on the lights, turned up the heater and drew the drapes. Nice touch. Very good value. Priced right for its location.

Are there any improvements you would like to suggest?

Only one bedside table. The floor or the sloping seat of an armchair isn't a satisfactory substitute. Only liquid soap in a dispenser in the shower - no shampoo. Liquid soap, shampoo may be but it just doesn't seem like a suitable substitute.

Tourist Court Motel replies:

Thank you for your review. We are trying to source more bedside cabinets although using the flat seat of a dining chair is an alternative. We liquid in the dispenser in shower is for hair and body. We went away from sachets of shampoo due to the extra rubbish going to landfill.

The cleanliness was top notch. It was nice to come back at night to find the curtains pulled and the lights on.

Are there any improvements you would like to suggest?

The heater was adequate for the temperature, but might be a little small for the colder nights in winter.

Just all round excellent, really. Will definitely stay there again if in Whakatane.

None. Units close to the road have some night traffic noise. It is a busy main road. Common motel problem. Common to all motels on Landing Road. No practicakl improvement possible
