Judging Criteria
- Relevance to its category.
- The inspirational factor. Does the image draw the eye immediately and inspire people to visit the destination or landmark you photographed?
- Quality of the image; is it of a commercial quality? Is it well composed? Is there good use of light? Does it demonstrate that thought, imagination and creativity have gone into capturing the moment?
Judge
Ollie Dale has been named the judge for the Capture New Zealand Photo Competition.
Ollie is a qualified commercial photographer (NZIPP), current chairman of the Auckland region of the New Zealand Institute of Professional Photography, and the editor of NZ Photographer, the new e-magazine for Kiwi photographers.
Highly accomplished, Ollie is the winner of two Kodak Gold Awards as well as a Silver and three Bronze Iris Awards.
