      Was there anything really great about your stay you'd like to share?

      The owners while being new were very aware of their surroundings and very helpful (even when the power went out.) I would recommend a stay here to anyone wanting to visit Whangaroa and being a regular visitor to this area will be back time and time again to this venue. WELL DONE NEW OWNERS

      Was there anything really great about your stay you'd like to share?

      The staff were very friendly and welcoming - it was almost like staying at someones home. The property was undergoing maintainence and upgrade and once I had booked the owners rang to ask if I would mind staying in a slightly different room. It was very prompt service. Once they have finished the maintenance it will be fantastic.

      Was there anything not so great about your stay you'd like to share?

      There is not a lot of parking - a difficult issue for the owners to resolve as the motel is on a hill with spectacular views. Also the lighting up the path from the marina was not all working - but the owners were in the process of clearing and maintaining the path.

      Nicely and recently refurbished to a very high standard, beautiful location and views, plenty of room to park vehicles and a boat trailer on site, very friendly helpful proprietor.

      Was there anything really great about your stay you'd like to share?

      Beautiful peaceful outlook over Onetangi waterfront, very close to excellent restaurant. Rooms very spacious for a couple especially the lounge. Kitchen well equipped. Very good spa compared with other similar places we have stayed.

      Was there anything not so great about your stay you'd like to share?

      Sliding doors and sliding shutters were difficult to operate - need maintenance. Electric jug badly needed descaling - pieces were coming off in the water!
