      The perfect base for exploring the western side of Golden Bay. Just 10 minutes from Takaka and 15 minutes to Collingwood. Affordable luxury holiday villas in a quiet rural area near a stunning beach and just 5 minutes drive to the Mussel Inn (everybody's favourite 'local').

      Our four recently refurbished 2- bedroom holiday villas, provide the best in motel quality and comfort. Large kitchen, king & twin beds, LCD TVs, large wet room shower PLUS each villa has its own covered carport, gas BBQ and private sunny patio area - ideal for alfresco dining!

      Take in the peace & quiet of our garden setting and rural views. Enjoy all day sun and garden views from every window. Take a short stroll down to the stunning sandy beach, perfect for safe swimming, kayaking or beachcombing.

      Golden Bay attractions in our neck of the woods include local artist & potters studios, bushwalks, Te Anaroa Cave tours, old goldmining areas, Wharariki Beach (great photo opportunities!),Farewell Spit tours, horsetreks, scenic flights, mountain biking, beaches, kayaking, the Mussel Inn, Te Waikoropupu Springs (Pupu Springs), the Naked Possum & the Langford Store.

      All villas are smoke free, self contained and serviced daily (or by request).

      Independent units mean no adjoining rooms. Therefore the rooms are very quiet.

      Are there any improvements you would like to suggest?

      Sky TV for sports would be great.

      The villas are modern and spotlessly clean. Everything one might need to make their stay comfortable has been thoughtfully provided. The gardens around the villas are beautiful and Patons Rock Beach is a short stroll away. It's a slice of paradise here; we shall return......

      The Villa was beautifully clean, modern and well appointed for the sun and beach 2 minutes walk away. The very approachable owner went out of her way to give details about the property and suggestions of where to buy food and activities in the area.

      Are there any improvements you would like to suggest?

      It was a little difficult to get an exact idea of location and proximity to beach with google maps

      - a quiet area, wonderful site to unwind - beautyful beach, close to the area - lovely and spacious garden - luxourious equipping (unit) - very nice hosts and something very impressive: the welcome token - the breakfast arrangement as a token for staying at Patons Rock - thanks once again :-), we enjoyed it

      Great size unit, lots of outdoor area, super beach near by. Great location to get out and about - central despite being off the main road.
