      The Allambee Cottages are self-contained holiday cottages set among two acres of park-like gardens, yet only1.5km south of Coromandel Town with its cafes bars and restaurants. One of our three individual cottages will be the perfect getaway cottage for you. The "Miners Cottage" is great for a couple, the "Garden Cottage" is also great for a couple but has an extra single bed and the "Pukeko Cottage" has 2 bedrooms with a queen bed in one and a queen and a single in the other. Gas BBQ. Outdoor dining furniture. All quality linen provided.

      This is the perfect holiday. Pack your bags and relax from the stresses of everyday life. The Allambee is the perfect base for you to explore Coromandels beautiful beaches and scenery.

      We do our best to maintain high standards and are sorry these guests did not enjoy their stay, but there are sometimes to sides to a story. We had too politely ask these noisey guests to tone it down as they were disturbing our other valued customers. They also left offensive smelling food lying around which was nethier hygenic or very nice for others to see or smell. We love spicey food, but did not enjoy cleaning up after these guests who left a huge mess. We apologise to our other guests who had too put up with these people. This bad review is out of character for our property, we normaly get 9 & 10s. All our other guests are great, and we really enjoy having them stay. Cheers Martin and Becky

      Beautiful cottage. Rooms were immaculate and well presented. Couldnt have asked for better. The host Becky was fantastic and welcoming even when we arrived at 9pm as well as including home made pikelets and muffins with the breakfast. We will be back.

      Are there any improvements you would like to suggest?

      Perhaps an electric frypan in the miners cottage to enable guests to do a little more cooking if they desire.

      Was there anything really great about your stay you'd like to share?

      The offer of fresh asparagus from the garden and fresh eggs from the hens was a reaaly nice touch and thoroughly enjoyed. In addition the provision of the BBQ at short notice was excellent.

      Addition of insect scrrens for the windows on the property.

      We loved the cottage, we initially wanted to stay in town but so glad we booked in to Allambee. Really appreciated the breakfast provided.
