If you’re visiting Queenstown, your first stop should be the information centre. This will enable you to pick up all the information that you need to get the most out of your trip. i-SITES are New Zealand’s official visitor centres, and there are over 80 of them throughout the country. Here you can bungy jump, jet boat, raft, gold pan, hike, horse ride, Fly by Wire, ski, snowboard, 4WD mountain bike, rock climb, follow a wine trail, join a lake cruise or scenic flight, water ski, yacht, ice skate, and play Frisbee golf. Queenstown hosts the Queenstown Winter Festival (June or July), the largest of its kind in the southern hemisphere.
