Waiheke Island Shopping - What to See & Do. If you are looking for comprehensive travel information for Waiheke Island Shopping, you will find it here on AA Travel.

Go shopping in Waiheke Island, you might be surprised at what you'll find. If you like shopping, you'll love what this country has to offer. We've got every type of shopping covered, so no matter what you're after, you'll find it here. Suburban shopping malls offer fun shopping experiences, with specialty shops, including homeware, music, arts and crafts, and upmarket chain and department stores carrying quality brands. Most of our city centres are lined with shops, great for wandering up and down while exploring our cities. At the other end of the scale, second-hand shops and markets often contain great surprises and that something that's just a little bit different, for a great price. If it's Kiwi souvenirs you're after, you won't have to go far - souvenir shops can usually be found at major tourist attractions, in most towns, and at many places throughout cities.

Waiheke Island's accessibility to the city, combined with its isolation, has attracted many artists,
writers and crafts people. The white sandy beaches of Oneroa, Little Oneroa, Palm Beach and Onetangi
are safe and popular for swimming, fishing and scuba diving. The coast is explored by yachts, hire
and charter launches, and sea kayaks. Native bush, farmland and award-winning vineyards flourish and
there are many sign posted walks through reserves. Horse trekking, vineyard tours, mountain biking,
golf, fishing and scenic flights can be had. Oneroa hosts an arts centre, shops and cafes.
