Arguably the main tourist attraction in Waitakere City is the Waitakere Ranges Regional Park, which

tramping tracks and an abundance of other leisure activities including swimming, surfing, fishing,

Across the city on the historic Corban Estate, a new arts precinct is growing. The old winery
homestead has a complex of art galleries, which focus on local and heritage exhibitions. To
complement the already existing art scene are a scattering of small dealer art galleries.
