Why forgo a great night out just because it's cold outside? New Zealand definitely serves up great entertainment, from live acts to subtle jazz bars and theatre shows, no matter what the season.
A great idea is to take a winter road trip and check out what's on in a different part of the country, so you can discover some of New Zealand's beautiful scenery while you're at it. I have the perfect solution for those winter days when outdoor activities are a no-go. Head to a museum or art gallery near you and prepare to be impressed! These days, museums are far from boring, having replaced their traditional style with an exciting, interactive character. Discover why we are the way we are, and have fun doing it!
Art is very much a part of the New Zealand culture. All of the metropolitan centres have exquisite public art galleries and exhibitions ready to be explored, as well as dealer galleries, showcasing both local and international talent.
