Kristy's Top 10

1. Travel essentials kit

This kit is an absolute must-have for any backpacker. It contains an eye mask, ear plugs, and a neck pillow to help make your flight, bus ride or shared dorm room sleep a lot more comfortable.

2. Departure wallet

Don't misplace your important documents - this zipped wallet will keep your passport, cards and travel documentation safe and organised.

3. Travel wipes

Anti-bacterial travel wipes are a great way to freshen up after a long day travelling - wipe away dirt and grime instantly.

4. Microfibre towel

These fast-drying, lightweight towels are easy to pack and carry, and will give you the freedom to go swimming or shower whenever you want. Perfect for those unexpected beach stopovers!

5. Packing cells

We all know how messy a backpack can get when you're travelling; but an easy way to organise your belongings is by using packing cells. Padded cells are also available for the precious and breakable bits gathered on your travels.

6. TSA® lock

One of the biggest fears that people associate with backpacking is theft. With this lock, you'll feel much safer knowing that your valuables are locked up safe and sound.

7. Head torch or hand torch

These are always handy to have in your pack - you never know when you'll need light but don't want to wake those around you, especially if you're camping or backpacking. Perfect solution!

8. Kit Case Deluxe

One thing that people can't travel without is their grooming and bathroom essentials. With this kit, you can keep them all in one compact and lightweight case.

9. Cutlery set

You never know when you'll be faced with culinary treats on your travels, but have no cutlery - prepare yourself with this handy compact cutlery set.

10. Travel clothing

Versatile, lightweight gear is a must when travelling, to lighten your load and keep packing to a minimum. Try to select versatile items with a double use, such as trousers with zip-off legs, and quick-drying fabrics.
