Hi,

With the Easter Break approaching and the last of summer still in the air, we've decided it's time to head out and make the most of those last dregs of sunshine by embarking on one of our country's Great Walks.
We're now well on our way to autumn; time to sit back and watch as the country dons a cloak of warm reds, golds and oranges while the sky is often a striking blue. Autumn is without a doubt one of the most picturesque months, and even though it's cooler than summer, the temperatures are generally mild and settled - there's no better time to commit yourself to a Great Walk!

On another note, Easter is one of my favourite holidays for a different reason - the chocolate! And with swimsuit season behind us you can take a trip to a chocolate factory and not feel the slightest bit guilty. Or if you're a parent with kids at home for the holidays, check out my Top 10 list.

Happy walking!

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory has a lot to answer for when it comes to ideas of how chocolate is made.

Roald Dahl would have you believe giant waterfalls of chocolate mix the molten confectionery, pint-sized chocolatiers run around singing songs in unison, and the chocolate factory is shrouded in secrecy.

We took it upon ourselves to get to the bottom of this chocolate-making myth, and thanks to the team at Devonport Chocolates we didn't need a golden ticket to do so. Read More
