What to see and do in New Zealand

In the Whakarewarewa village there are carving and weaving schools where you can see traditional craftspeople at work. In Rotorua, you have access to horse trekking, orienteering, and some of New Zealand's best mountain-bike trails. Lake Rotoiti is connected to Lake Rotorua and is popular for boating.
